Winners of IX International Biennial of Enamel Art Vilnius 2022 have been announced

On November 24, in the „Meno niša“ gallery, we invited all the participants of the biennale once again to accompany the exhibition from Vilnius to the Panevėžys city art gallery and to award the winners. The awards were presented by Maryte Dominaite, the curator of the IX International Biennale of Enamel Art „Vilnius 2022“ and dr. Jurgita Ludavičiene and Diana Stomienė, founder and manager of the gallery „Meno niša“.

“This time, 29 authors from 8 countries – Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sakartvelo, Ukraine, Germany, Israel, Venezuela – are participating in the Biennale and telling about their impressions through images, presenting as many as 74 works. The 11th International Enamel Biennale showcases a wide panorama of the ways enamel is used: from delicate partition enamel, bold industrial enamel, enamel is applied with strokes like acrylic or poured in thin layers like watercolor.” – says curator dr. Jurgita Ludavičienė.
