*”20-year enamel art collection in the exhibition ‘Pamario ženklai’
In 2024, the coastal and seaside region gave special attention to a unique heritage object – the lighthouse.
Lithuanian lighthouse history researcher Aidas Jurkštas introduced artists to the existing lighthouses in Lithuania and their historical background.
Artists in residence at the Vydūnas Cultural Center in Kintai explored both water and land routes, visiting various historical sites in the region. They transformed their impressions into enamel artworks. The enamel art gallery of the Vydūnas Cultural Center in Kintai houses a unique 20-year collection of enamel works titled “Signs of the Seaside.”
Starting tomorrow, the Guild of Goldsmiths will host an exhibition at the Enamel Art Gallery featuring works by artists from the enamel art camp-laboratory, which has been running for 21 years, all of whom resided at the Vydūnas Cultural Center in Kintai.
The exhibition will be open to visitors from June 13 to 30, daily from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at Šv. Stepono 10, Vilnius.
Visitors will also be introduced to the possibilities of creating works using enamel art techniques. 👀
