INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL OF ENAMEL ART PRESENTED IN LATVIA

We would like to thank everyone who came to the opening of the 10th International Enamel Art Biennale at the Sigulda Cultural Center yesterday. We thank the center for the organization and assistance in presenting this exhibition in Latvia.

Authors from Latvia can be seen at the biennial – Dinas Dubinas, Aivars Riekštinš, Indulis Urbans (1947-2024). The exhibition will be open until August 31 and will be presented in Panevėžys.

“At the X International Enamel Biennale, viewers will be able to see various ways of using enamel: delicate partition enamel, bold industrial enamel, compare the creative manner of artists from different countries and see what kind of “masterpieces” they have created. Here, enamel is combined with amber, precious stones, silver or gold leaf. It moves onto copper dishes and book covers, unexpectedly becomes a painting or three-dimensional sculpture, dazzles with colors and entices with the subtlety of technique,” said J. Ludavičienė.

Biennial organizers: Vilniaus miesto galerija „Meno niša“, „Auksakalių gildija“.
Sponsor – Vilnius City Municipality
Gallery „Meno niša“ works by program of Vilnius fine crafts businesses and fairs.
