Enamel Art Workshop: Signs of Pamarys

On November 8th at 6 PM, an exhibition of works created by artists in the 21st Enamel Art Workshop will be presented at the Kintai Vydūnas Culture Center. The theme is “Lighthouse – A Symbol of Light and Hope.” The event is dedicated to the Year of the Lighthouse and the 30th anniversary of the Vydūnas Museum.

The Curonian Lagoon and coastal region have dedicated the year 2024 to a unique water heritage object – the LIGHTHOUSE. The lighthouse is not only a navigation tool for water travelers but is often used in literature as a symbol of communication, light, and hope. The Vydūnas Museum, founded 30 years ago, has also become a kind of cultural heritage beacon for the Kintai region, as well as for the personality of Vydūnas and the dissemination of his philosophical ideas. Vydūnas is often referred to as the awakener of Lithuanian national consciousness and a beacon of peace due to his educational and creative work.

During the presentation of the enamel art exhibition, students from the Šilutė Art School’s music department will perform on the saxophone and violin.
