Šarūnė Vaitkutė. Exhibition LOST and FOUND | December 11, 2014 – January 6, 2015

Šarūnė Vaitkutė – is one of the most famous contemporary jewelry artists in Lithuania. A winner of international contests and participant in plenty of group exhibitions in the USA, the United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Russia and Italy, she now presents her first solo exhibition “The lost and the found” in the gallery “Meno niša“.

The works of Šarūnė Vaitkutė can be easily recognized: reticent aristocracy, inner peace, a delicate touch to materials and stones, simple, and therefore substantial forms. The minerals found, and their harmony with precious metals, radiate the inner peace and reveals the restless curiosity of the artist.
The search was not in vain – what was found was more than what was lost. The artist as a physician follows the covenant: do no harm. And then gold, palladium, and crystal begin to speak for themselves. About the joy coming from the inside. About a desire to discover. About the balance and peace found.

Goldsmith Guild Gallery “Meno niša“ invites you to discover the latest works of Šarūnė Vaitkutė in the exhibition ” Lost and Found”.
